How long does a
shoot last?
Typically it would be about an hour long. This does not
include the time for setup and dismantling, which would be
about 30 minutes. So all in 1.5 hours.
How much space do you need to conduct a
shoot?
A 3x3m
space will be good for families and young children. However we
can also do with half that space, especially for babies and
older children who might move less. But we have found that
small spaces also work well for younger children because once
they are engaged, they are quite willing to stay within the
natural boundaries of that space.
It is not convenient for me to conduct a
shoot at my home. Do you have a studio?
As our concept is mobile, we do not
have a fixed studio location. If you'd like us to arrange for
a shoot location, do let us know and we could source one out.
Do you provide props?
We believe the
best props are found at home! What better way to preserve
those childhood memories than to have your child pose with her
dearest cuddly toy or rocker? However, we do have a small (but
growing!) collection of props, even handmade props. Let us
know what you need during our pre-shoot discussion and we'll
be happy to help out.
Are family members allowed in a shoot?
Immediate family are welcome to join the
shoot, however there is a limit to the number of people that
can be accomodated in a picture. Do let us know in advance the
family members who will be part of the shoot.
Do you take other subjects besides
children?
We also do pet and commercial
photography. Do call us if you are interested in any other
photographic assignment.
Do you conduct outdoor shoots?
Yes we
do and we have a special rate for these. Do contact us for
further details.
What should we wear?
Though our
indoor photoshoots are conducted in the privacy of your home,
this does not mean you shouldn't dress up. Well, you
could really dress however you pleased but most importantly,
for family shoots, the outfit colours should complement.
Make-up for adults is great, but children really don't need
them
